An Indaba is normally held every two years. In 2010 the Cape Town Centre with be hosting the event. For more details about the Cango International Indaba please click to the Cape Town Centre's website. The Cango Indaba will be held at Kleinplaas in Oudtshoorn from Thursday 16th September - Sunday 19th September 2010. Where possible, national tours are held to celebrate significant anniversaries. E.g. In 2005 the MGA Tour took place to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the MGA. To fit with this tradition, 2008 marked the 50th anniversary of the Frogeye Sprite on which the MG Midget was based. Hence the Spridget Tour which was a joint event with the Austin Healey Club. 2009 marked the 70th anniversary of the KZN Centre, the oldest MG Car Club outside of the UK. |
